porting the weapon's model can't be too hard for me :P but i think it's gonna be a lot harder to script it and you can't use most of the models as dynamic models.

Porting the gun model is something that could possibly be done easily, I suppose.

The gun actually picking up stuff and shooting it (like it does in HL2) is what I was trying to say that couldn't be done in WaW.

...Whether it's possible or not, I don't really know tbh

not just that, you'll also have to rig and animate the model as well because as far as i know you can't extract the animations from a source engine model and use it on waw.

your thinking of ammo-regeneration (regen) it's a custom perk that was featured in many old custom maps. Such as the zct mod and zombie forts. The real function of Amm-o-matic was to quote on quote "supposedly gives a max ammo to the player when brought". The real cost was 5000 points and can only be bought by a player 3 times. It was supposed to be featured in shi no numa and der riese. It was removed at the cost of being too over-powered. And also had a great tasting flavor. Quotes can still be obtained in the sound files of the characters after they consumed the perk, they said the following;

Dempsey: An ammo machine? Genius...

Nickoli: An ammo machine?! What a brilliant idea!

Takeo: This must be a mourn from the emperor!

Rhictofen: Ammo machine!? What a vundafal idea!!!

The script "nazi_zombie_sumpf_ammo_box" suggests that the supposed perk "Ammo-O-Matic" wasn't even a perk, but was a box that whenever a player used it, it would open and give ammo to the player before closing.

The cost of the supposed perk, if it is the same as the script that i found, was 10000+ points. I say "+" because you would need 10000 just to use the box. Then it would take ALL your points.

Whats odd about it is that its not mentioned(as far as i can remember) as actually being a perk within the perks script for shi no numa. On top of that, they just up and decide to place the code into its own GSC instead of adding it to the maps GSC which isn't something that Treyarch does often for small scripts like this one.

That script is most likely not for Ammomatic then Deadra, since it actually has textures that were unused and are clearly for a perk and not just a box....

Any news on the maps progress?

I'm actually currently thinking about completely remapping the majority of the map (about 50% to 70%) because I'm not really happy with the layout and it doesn't really have the feel I was intending it to have when I started out  :(

So, are you going to remap it with exactly how you want people to progress through the map in mind? Starting with the "path" and then adding the detail around the framework of the way people with move through the map. If so, that is very smart and a gutsy move, but I think it will pay dividends in the end.
