I can appreciate when work is put into such concepts. But I would like to be aware that a map I could be interested has a chance of scaring me to death.

lol this was funny to read

Jumpscares are ok, when they do whats intended. Randomly and unexpectedly pop up and scare.

Repeated jump scares over and over are just annoying. However, this is just my opinion, I wouldn't say it "ruins" the map. However if it "did" ruin the map, I would simply "not play the map"...

Ok people, let's not turn this thread into a personal attack on others. People can be mature enough to discuss such a simple topic without name calling surely?

@Rambo, I don't appreciate being told to "piss off" just because I choose to dislike jumpscares. Your comment started the ball rolling for others to chip in with non constructive comments and I would like to see an end to them please.

@JR, it may be easy to just say "Don't like them, don't play them!", but not all mappers announce them as being a part of their maps.

Crazy how such a simple topic can desend into such a farce. Seriously guys?
