Honestly Activision just needs to accept that the only way to bring PC players back to COD in large numbers (relative to consoles) is to reintroduce mod tools. There's no other way around it.

Look at the two most-successful COD games on PC: MW1 and COD WAW. Gee, I wonder why?

I get that they're worried about their overpriced DLC not selling if they put out mod tools, but that's the wrong way of looking at it. I can only imagine how many people would buy the game at launch (myself included) for the full $60 if mod tools were announced. And now that more people have the game in the first place, DLC sales would rise automatically.

I agree with you 100% in fact they could make it where you would have to get the DLC to have additional Mod Tools etc. But idk about you but I still like buying their DLC at least for zombies Plus gives mappers more ideas for their maps too

It's not like the tools will be available on the P.S&Xbox which is the big sellers. PC barely sells with COD so it's not like they'd be losing a lot they'd be getting much more with PC players coming back due to availability to customize the game. Or like you kind of said include mod support for the Season Pass that way they get the DLC sold with it. That would suck but who knows. Also I guess they are a bit scared of people pirating the game just for mod tools.

Also there would be console players who would buy the game on PC as well to play the mods. I myself usually prefer the MP on console but have played CoD on PC alot longer than on console.

ohh lol the i must appologyse for my ignorance lol i did watch it but not im not really hyped over bo3 TBH i think its just a reskin of AW with the exo skeleton and the movement mechanics
