great idea! even tho i absolutely failed at beta testing backlot, as i became busy with RL problems, so i cant beta test ANY maps right now, as i do not have my laptop with me, so i cant give feedback or do some bug-testing anymore. but yeah! go for it man!

I actually like this idea. I always check before making any replies to topics( to prevent asking the same questions from others) but about halfway I give up due to hundreds of open beta requests. Yes this is a must.

Progress update: The system is about 95% done and should be implemented at some point tomorrow if all goes according to plan. I added a couple more features:
You can manually add people to your beta if you have some friends that you know will want the beta. You can send a mass PM (limit of 15 per hour for spam reasons) to the group of selected participants (or the whole group if you use the select all button).
A PM notification will be sent to users whose beta access requests are accepted:
So yeah there's basically only one more bug I have to fix and then I just need to migrate the files onto the live version of the site. If anyone has any additional (feasible) suggestions please let me know soon so that I can consider implementing it before going live with the changes. I decided against implementing the rep system for now (maybe at a later date).
