Definitely WaW prefabs, I remember using the 4th+5th Pic in my test map xD, but if he can pull off a good map I see no issue.

TBH I don't see any issue with using prefabs if that's what you feel you need to use. They look nice, and don't require too much work either.
That said, I would still go through them and add some models, see if you can alter any of the textures, etc. They don't look very "zombified" in their current state.
Also, the outdoor section on your cube map looked very nice -- I would focus on translating that same level of detail into the courtyard section we see on this map.
