Started mapping yesterday, one pic from what I have so far, not gonna show too much, by the looks of things got some catching up to do...



Our map is based in a warehouse during Christmas (but will have some 'twists') inspired by one of my (numerous) past jobs

I kind of get a killing floor vibe from this Good job on the pic and on question, Is this warehouse going to have fork lifts that act as lifts to lift you to leverage that the player cannot normally reach?

I'm sure you guys are partially joking, but still. There is much more to making a map that is actually going to be fun to play than its appearance, so don't give up hope, map on!

Oh I will, Im just not too confident in my novice level skills to be of any competition here, so I leave the floor open to these AMAZING mappers

The major players that have entered (Like Stevie) are all so talented. I think ill sit this one out, but im looking forward to seeing their amazing work

Maybe when I am a little more skilled with things ill enter if another compo comes up, until then, back to my old W.I.P

Well according to some i̶d̶i̶o̶t̶s̶ people, my ego is so big it barely fits into the forum... 

But I'd like to get one thing straight, I'm not one of the 'major players', as Harry puts it, in mapping or in this contest, there are mappers in this contest far, far more talented than myself, and who have released multiple amazing maps. I haven't even released a single map yet.

And despite the crap people say, I encourage new mappers to join in mapping, I just can't stand noobs who are too lazy and/or stupid to put the effort into learning how to do basic things by just looking it up; it's nothing to do with skill level, it's just basic competence. I've seen both you guys maps Vinny and Harry, and I know for a fact both of you could make a great map for this contest, don't be put off

This map looks very great i cannot wait to play it when its finished Stevie and Blunts i got GREAT respect for yal and Good Luck making this map hope it ends up amazingly awesome  :)
