I remade de_dust 2 from csgo into a zombies map! This is my first project, and i am really glad how it turned out! A list of features are below. Please post constructive criticism to help me improve my project! Hope you enjoy!

Features:
10 areas
13 doors
BO1 and WAW perks
Power switch
Mystery boxes that can move when teddy bear rolled
3 music boxes throughout the map, with 5 songs
Working mule kick (it doesnt work on some maps, but it does on this one!)
Buyable guns in every room, placed and distributed tactically and evenly

Looks good but I would've used custom textures to actually give it the de_dust feel. To be honest I would probably not have noticed it was de_dust aside from the name.

For your first project it seems pretty well thought out (and not a box map!  ).

However, there are LOADS of tutorials on this site and others that could've made the map stand out rather than almost stock everything.

Keep going and I'm sure you'll do great in this community

I don't think he did, I think he just vaguely copied the layout of the map with basic brushes. Which is worse.

Yeah I don't think he actually ported the map by the looks of it.

But for the record, my first map was not good either (terrible compared to this, to the point where I did not release it).  It's cool to see that people are still getting into mapping 
For the future, try to get some more things in your map. There was also a tutorial for porting source engine maps into world at war. I also think that adding custom weapons and innovation would make the game play better.
There are tons of tutorials on the site, and I hope you continue!

And as for the textures, i was planning on updating them in a later version.

if you think that throwing a fit and defending you and your hard work are the same thing, then you must not value yourself very much. jobs for people like you include prostitution, experimental drug tester, or a drug dealer.

btw if all you do is go around online to make fun of someone for their literal first map, you may want to get a better life. i think the map does look a little bland, but you cant give crap for someone who's new to mapping =\

Also, last but not least, you are using adfly links for the downloads? Are you trying to make money? I don't think adf.ly is even an approved download host or even allowed on the site, as making money off of treyarc's game is highly illegal

Oh, and btw:

Never played CS:GO, so don't know how accurate this is. However, a little more detail around the map wouldn't hurt, still a good job for your first map. Just keep working on this map, instead of starting a new project and i'm sure it can look really good.
