they are yet to show any interest in this what so -ever to date at all, so that statement couldnt be more backwards

the only thing theyve ever pulled this on was BO3 gun mods, as the game isnt even released yet

If you are recommending a Charity to donate to, I think Jeans for Genes would be a good one, just not sure if is an International Charity or not.

Since children were mentioned, there is in Belgium and the Netherlands (certainly in other countries too) a "charity" called the Cliniclowns, and what they do is:

to gain access to early builds of the map which are fully playable with the FS Mod. You also get added to a Skype group were everyone will get to see any progress we have made with features and mapping.
