So i'm taking a wild guess here but this is what the new radiant will look like if the Black Ops 3 Mod Tools are released and we can create our own maps? Or would this be completely different from what Treyarch use




Thoughts?


Note: as you can see it has a models tab which would be handy.. looks a lot easier in my opinion

It certainly looks a whole lot better than WaW's radiant, but that goes without saying. I don't see why the mod tools wouldn't support SP/Zombies, if they release Radiant. It'd also be interesting to see whether they provide a way of moving WaW projects to BO3 tools.

seeing by the video it looks extremely more advanced now and looks so much easier to use! Reminds me of the Map Editor out of the game far cry mixed with Call of Duty 5 Radiant. If everything goes to plan im super excited! i'm sure it will support zombies as you can see them building the new zombie DLC map in radiant too so im sure it wouldnt be a problem.. Treyarch know that zombies is the main attraction here and will keep the sales going for the next couple of years

I think we'll get a dumbed down version of it not super dumbed down. But truth is as March approaches, I'm getting more and more paranoid that they'll pull a Black Ops 1 and not release Radiant.  :'(

Nah m8. This is still on a regular COD basis. Revolution for BO2 came out January 29th and a month later for PS3. February 2nd isn't really a set-back at all (Tell that to the publishers though). They might be outsourcing mod tools or maybe something else. The real task is just dumbing down radiant so we can't do as much and have to get the next COD :P.

they specified "modding mapping and gametypes" as things they were giving us already. Not sure why the others seem to think that means strings attached or limitations when if anything asll they have alluded is the very opposite ??? lol

Forget the debacle that was BO1 mod tools people, that was a massive fail on all scales and prob had the plug pulled

Yeh I think he means that that probably implies we can port over our .map files into BO3.
