The name could use some creativity - maybe you'll find some inspiration on the wiki page for the real-world relation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shangri-La

The name right now is more of a description of what it is, ill find an awesome name soon map story needs to develop more first!

It would be cool if there were traps that you must watch out for, but that if you know where they are you can use them to your advantage.
Walls that would move every few minutes changing the way much of the interior looked by opening some rooms and closing off others, that would be delightfully confusing.
Looks like a pyramid/temple from AVP & Prometheus meets Indiana Jones.

I think you should call the map either 'Paradise', or 'The Lost World'. Both are good representations of Shangri La, or the premise surrounding it's myth.

Would be kinda cool if you implemented a way so that if players aren't careful they can fall and be sucked into the sand. Or maybe a hidden area under the sand? :3
