You shouldn't be trying to get that script that was in the weapons pack, it was stolen from awesome pieman. The only ways to have a thundergun in your map is to use the ugx mod or script it.

A mapper was telling me the other day that he copied the script out of Black Ops 1 and it worked. Except for sounds?

I didnt see this to confirm it though, we were just talking on steam

The thundergun script from black ops can work, but you would have to change a few of the functions in it since world at war does not have some of the functions that black ops does. So for your friend to say he just "copied the script out of Black Ops 1 and it worked" is a lie.

Good to know, like I said this is just what he told me. He only said the sounds dont work, and allegidly got the gun (amoungst others) from custom Cod (I think thats where he said)

He asked about the script, I said to just use the UGX mod, then he told me this. Just thought id check with ya'all

Needs tested. Only tested on single player till level 4. I will keep working on it and if anyone can test it and help out finding any bugs, that would be great.


--Update 12-9-14--
v1.1- Fixed some things, and it now compensates for upgraded, twice, and it damages boss zombies but doesn't insta kill them like normal zombies.
v1.2 - fixed some things I thought I did in v1.1 and added that any gun can be a thundergun

I have donated and tried the "UGX " mod but i did not find any RGM2 or thundergun tho. Do you mean they come as prefabs with the mod? I am too far into the current map to risk changing it now i think tho as i do not want to break it or anything.

(if) when you build your map with the UGX mod, itll change the weapons to the UGX weapons. Thundergun is one of them (RGM2 isnt, thats part of UGX 1.1, not 1.0)

You can change the weapons if you want still, but by default it adds the UGX ones
