Well actually, before jumping to the story, I read the summary on wiki, (I like spoilers, sorry

) and I didn't like the plot to be honest, as it felt boring.

Just started watching it lately.

It's a good show and I'm enjoying it so far, but I feel like everyone's overhyping it too much and giving it more praise then it should. The same thing was done with the recent JoJo's Bizarre Adventure show, too...

dude you have too read the original manga first and then you will understand why its so over hyped. by the way the original manga is by a guy named ONE. you'll understand just from the first page why people are so pumped for its animated release.

its becuase it is a web comic. And the guy who made it is a great story writer, but a horrendous artist. The fact that it was made by an unpaid webcomic writer who made and released chapters in his free time, is why its so awesome. This means that no matter how low quality the artists abilities are if the story is good enough even big companies like Funimation and Madhouse will make an awesome anime out of it.

Once again it sounds stupid and boring, but it is absolutely amazing. And from my professional opinion as an otaku and a nerd, watch atleast 3 episodes before you decide its boring. because its produced by the well know company funimation and animated by the animes gods Madhouse, and Written by an even more amazing mystery writer ONE.

Y'know what? I must've been lying. I just rewatched Angel Beats and fucking hell it ripped me to shreds all over again. I'm in freaking tears just because they reversed the damn old outros! God, it's so good and it's absolutely unbelievable that they managed to make you feel so much in just 13 episodes. It's truly amazing and everyone should watch it. I don't mean just people that watch anime; I mean EVERYONE. It helps you come to terms with your own life in a way while watching others accept the cards they were dealt.

I just wish, however, that there had been just a follow-up segment of only like 10-20 seconds where you see like 3rd graders running around the schoolyard or park acting just like the characters before. That's the only thing that could've made me cry like an even bigger bitch than the first time I finished the series.

The only thing that could make it worth remaking is to see how each of the characters disappeared and figure out what the hell is up with TK. That's it. Otherwise, it is perfect.

The manga goes into deaper detail than the manga. Literally 12 episodes worth of content got cut. And i can't remember a backstory for TK. But if you haven't read the manga i highly recommend it.
