if you mean in size its about 128mb for the xmodel_export, he did fallow all the correct procedures

Are you sure he would select "animated" for a static model?

You're trying to convert a 128mb model and you wonder why it's not working?
Also you have export the model in Maya version whatever. You have selected the joints and the model and edi, select hierarchy and export the model as exp: model.xmodel_export. Then you have open the file with text reader (Notepad ++) and go at the bottom and saw some materials: http://gyazo.com/e6b865644663dbbdfff7d04270d7486d
Red: Material name
Blue: image name

red: select animated and your .xmodel_export file
blue: for the fix to cant shot trough the xmodel in game
black: the xmodel you exported from maya
CONVERT IT (F10)
It says error cant find "name_of_texture_1"
make the materials in asset manager like this:

Black: select those things. when you port a model in wood select then wood, not metal.
you make to any material on the file, at bottom, and convert it (F10)
when you finished that go back to your xmodel and convert it again (F10)
its says: completed, done
I hope it works
