Ive been Trying for about a year and I came to the conclusion to get help to Improve my WAW experience.
 On medium to (Hiss) Box maps I get the Usual 60-45 FPS which is ok for Laptop Performances.

But on Big, Detailed maps Like LEVIATHAN and Sumpf, I always drop to 30-10 FPS until I look down which Raises me to 420+ FPS.

Im novice to Technical problems compared to most people today. I dont want to spend lots of money on Gaming Computers like Alienware or stuff like that. I have Removed and reduced priorities of Beefy programs that I rarely use like FL-Studio and Microsoft Word. I even Raise the Priority of WAW when Launching.

I need suggestions on how to Improve my WAW experience so I can run bigger maps and mods, without trying to get a newer computer as Im looking towards recording equipment for starting a YouTube Career in the near-Future.

What is your PC specs? If you can run box maps and other smaller maps fine, but you can't run detailed maps then you probably need to upgrade your graphics card.

You're just gonna have to upgrade dude.

I'm sure you could look up some .config tweaks to squeeze out an extra couple of frames, but that's it.

Your best option is to build a PC. That's much less expensive than buying an overpriced Alienware or what have you. I mean, you could probably build one that can run WAW on max at like 60 FPS on all maps for like $500-600. Provided you did your research and got the most value out of every component. An extra couple hundred or three and you will be able to run even more games. Although IMO the best PC games ever made are the ones with rather limited graphical capabilities (STALKER, System Shock 2, Darkest Hour '44-'45, etc).

If you're starting a YT channel, you're gonna need a good rig anyway. I mean, uploading videos can take a very long time on a weak PC/laptop. It's better to just drop the cash and get what you need than trying to use something that isn't up to the task (like your laptop).

Whoever told you that you need to spend a fortune on a gaming PC is lying. You can pick up the amazing EVGA GTX 750 TI FTW right now for $150 which is capable of playing Battlefield 4 on highish settings at 1080P.

All you need is a desktop computer with a PCI Express 2 slot and power supply with a PCIe power connector, 400 watts(recommended), and 30 amps on the 12V rail(single recommended). I'd recommend the Corsair CX 430 PSU but it has major coil whine problems...

Feel kinda scammed now... got the SuperClocked version for like $170 and now the FTW version is $150. lol

Anyway, if you insist on not upgrading or building a proper gaming PC, turning down the resolution, Anti Aliasing, shadows, and spec maps will all give you better performance.

Console spam actually degrades performance heavily.

I have disabled a lot of the bullshit spam that's shown in console and should "normalize" FPS on higher rounds/shit going down in T4M.


As for general response derping around with config could yield something.

not true, just near impossible and usually involves cutting part of the casing out, or buying a complete custom case ( often a different motherboard too ) lol

I did it, ages ago, just to get a laptop to "start" so i could get the files off

very unsafe tho, had to completely remove the bottom casing, and cut into another part ( this was years and years ago, when it wasnt so easy to just pull the data, was my sisters baby pics )
