lol, It would seam that if you use cheats in a zombie map that means you suck at COD. Cuz you know, there aren't other, more legitimate reasons for wanting to use cheats. 

The OP never said he was trying to be funny and Correct me if i'm wrong, but the image just shows the mods folder , not the IWD.

And as far as i know, mappers aren't responsible for other people looking at their maps assets.

You cannot enable cheats to a mod that has removed them in their scripts without playing with their scripts.
I find it quite disgusting that you are actually looking through someones files, of which they put a lot of time and effort in to create.

Even if you were able to find the script that actually had the code removing the cheats, I highly doubt you would be able to do it yourself, and no person in the community would be even willing to help.
In my opinion, stop whining and play the game normally.

I lol'ed at your reply, because it shows just how much people make assumptions, but I'll try to understand and decompile your reply.

First, I think we have well established that the only way to enable cheats is to play around with the script, so that's redundant.

Next, you found it disgusting that I was looking through someone else's files. Well, I highly doubt that you even took the time to click on the screenshot, because if you had, you would see that there was nothing in there that could somehow not be fair to the maker. No code was shown, all that was shown were the files in my folder, which absolutely anyone can access.

Then you talk about me not being able to used the code anyways. Well...duh, that was only the entire point of this thread. If I was able to do it myself, why would I come to this forum asking for help? I think we have already made the point that I know nothing about this (pretty sure I said it myself a couple times). Redundant and stupid statement.

Finally, you tell me to stop whining and play the game normally. Again, if you had read the thread, you would know that I am not a bad player, and am fully capable of playing the game normally. However, I like having godmode and other cheats because it gives me the ability to mess around in the game, and I am harming absolutely no one by doing that.

Please, make an educated response, and then post it. I came on here asking for help, and you have not done that, so why post?

I wasn't going to comment on this post because it is like the one just a couple posts above, except more stupid, but I read it again and decided I'll reply anyways.

Cheaters are not funny, I fully agree with you, to be honest I have no idea where you got the notion that I think they're funny? I never once said that so I'm a bit confused here.

Looking through other people's files, well like I said in another post, I wasn't looking at any of the code, just the normal files which can be accessed by anybody. Furthermore, I don't know how that could even cause any problems for somebody.

You have to realize that people don't always get what they want. The map maker obviously removed cheats from their map to prevent people from not properly experiencing their level. I once had someone ask about one of the features in my map Overrun, because they had found something in one of my scripts that they couldn't find in game. It's people like this who ruin the game for others, because they find those hidden things without allowing the community to search.

I'm very much used to not getting what I want, and I understand why the map maker removed the cheats, but I'd still like to have cheats to mess around the map and not harm anyone. If I just sit down and play for a couple minutes with godmode and mess around and have that be it, what is the harm in that?

Also the guy who looked at your code was obviously wrong for doing so, but that's not what I want. I respect the map makers, but I don't see how I am causing any harm by playing with cheats by myself. It's one of those things that doesn't affect anybody, hence why I am asking.

I think you assumed that I don't respect and want to harm the creator and ruin their work. This is not the case. I just want to be able to sit down and play with cheats for about 10 minutes and then go and do something productive.

This conversation can continue for the time being if people can act more mature about it, but I see a lot of name calling, and if it continues down this path I will lock the thread and mark it for deletion.

I personally use a trainer, There are a good amount on google.

I use them when I play solo and have no chance at earning glorious wonder weapons.

It is like using a game genie, just do not use them online and say you earned that score.

Finally, it wont protect you from everything. The panzer soldat kills cheaters dead.

That doesn't matter. All you would need is a modified version of a stock script in an IWD and you'd be set. There are also tools called "FastFile Decompilers" which can extract the maps scripts from a FastFile.

Finally someone who is actually mature and not at all a dick. God damn the level of butthurt from these people is over 9000. You'd think it was like I was decompiling their code and posting it all over the interwebs. I find it very funny how there is so little people out there that have a measurable level of maturity. Sad, it really is.

I did give up on the whole godmode idea, so there is that. I'm not a really hardcore zombies player so I usually just hop on for 10 minutes and mess around with godmode, but if I can't do that I just don't play

As for respecting the map makers, well to be honest if I ever did create a map myself I would never disable godmode, so I myself can't imagine being offended by people using godmode in my maps, but it seems to have burnt a hole in the trousers of all the kids in here, so I guess I won't be doing that.

Even though you didn't help me with my problem, at least you responded like a human being, so thank you for that.
