Anyone else agree he should release his models so we all don't fail miserably at mapping a Christmas map? 

Not hard to get your own, whether rip from CoD 4 or download them.

As much as I would like to use my Black Ops mod, the rules state that all maps must run the UGX mod.

after the contest you could make another version with the black ops mod (Hopefully wont disqualify you )

Snow Globe Update: Custom Hud + Dive to Prone

I started making a christmas themed hud that will go great with the map. I even went beyond what the black ops hud had in my black ops mod - I created my own ammo counter giving me more control over font size, positioning and more. Coop testing still needs to be done to check that the value for the magazine updates fast enough clientside. The hud is not finalized, but I have also created powerup icons for the gamemode Gun Game.

Snow Globe Update: Domination Gamemode

So for the last week I was studying for some midterm exams - which are currently done - and I am now back working hard on the map. I have done a bit more mapping, but most recently did a couple of features for the map, one of which is a new gamemode - similar to the style that the ugx mod has. This gamemode is Domination.

The rules to this gamemode are not completely set in stone yet, but I do have a lot planned for it and already have the main parts for the game logic done (ie flag capturing). I will release all the rules of this gamemode in a later update when it is finished.
