So I made a new weapon and for the reload i want the FX to appear on a joint (will name it tag_fx_reload) Pretty much, it is like the bo2 sliquifier where when you reloaded, you would push a button at the bottom that was like a pump and it played an fx there.

When I started I messed around with guns a bit . I ended up changing a pistol ( revolver forget name ) I copy pasted some fx from one weapon file to another . The result was waffle blue sparks coming out of my gun when firing g.
What I am trying to say is maybe there is something you could do either in weapon editor or even looking at how electric cherry works and take it from there. As that activates animation for reload . Maybe you would need to make it a type of perk but not one purchased in game. Just an ability to have animation on reload.

Mm i might try looking through the electric cherry script, btw, the fire thing you are talking about is already pre-scripted on every "normal" weapon and I can't do it through the weapon editor for sure.

To make it appear on first person you're going to need to make a GSC and CSC script. In FAX you'll do a loop for wait till reload or was it reload_start and then do setClientSysState, in CSC you'll make a add_listen_thread then you'll put all your FX in there.

Look at the tesla csc script for the fx stuff.

You can actually do it all in csc by just checking the ammo and weapon with some while loops with a realwait(.01). I think you can also use notetracks but I haven't had a reason to try that one yet.

Yes you could also use notetracks, but you'd have to reuse the Tesla one's.
Dont know of a way to add 'custom' notetracks that actually work in .csc The tesla one's work fine however..
