Map tired of wasting my time making a map to compete alongside thrown together crap like industrial estate. I have regularly been told incorrect information about black ops 1 and 2 gameplay from people who have less than 3 hours on the game. Then the maps get reviewd by guys who have less that 3 hours on these games too.

When i asked opionion from other mappers about my map i get insult cus of a few caulk here and there ,  then i play their maps i do not go into chat and write a load of bugs about their map to be an asshole. When i can find a good few bugs but i do not act that way.

I donated to keep this community going like others do but all i have learnt now is yo can put so much work into something but if you are not a certain mapper no one looks at it.

You cant make content without getting feedback from both spectrums. While there are few maps, that get a lot of praise, they get their fair trade of complains from people. Your map was good for first map, since it atleast tried to do something more than be a box map. Few caulk issues are not gamebreaking, but visually it can break the mood of the map. Besides, reviewers decide who they review. From what I know, Tomikaze isnt friends with Creepers, but still decided to review the map. Jiffy was tester for RD, so thats why his review got out quickly, cos he knew what was in release, nothing to do about we being friends. Everyone starts from somewhere, you gotta work for it, not just assume everyone will help you on your way

 Yes i agree but 3 times i link the map in chat to reviewers and none posted, not even saying to me in chat ot PM " A reason why" . I have remodelled the entire map and have about 200 hours at least to finish it all, and make an improved version for again not any feedback except "map errors"

 I have been in chat many times a random will join and ask if any maps have been released recently , and the response will be "hmm only specific maps there are others released since but not going to mention them."

 Originally i made this map to just play it co op and have fun on a map i made hard as possible. ( of course that is not possible) But as time goes by i spend more time adding and changing it , and looking forward there are many hours yet to come to even begin portalling. But then to ask 3 reviewers just for some feedback to maybe make the map better for the players and get no response at all.

In a nutshell i think i will be putting many hours into something that will not get played , i mean it is hard enough to get a co op game on the most popular maps it seems and i am a player .

So you're pissed off because no one reviewed your map? Seriously? Because that seems to be the main issue here....

And why do you care about getting a review so much, not like it's an official exam for your map giving the final verdict. It's just the reviewers opinion on your map..

Maybe you shouldn't compare you're work to other people's maps, and also dont care about other people that much.. You should be modding because you like it, not because you want to get 'known' in the community or want to get praised. You think people wont play your map once you release it because some reviewers didn't mention it, or had something to whine about? Tons of people just come here to dl and play pretty much any decent looking new map, but you wont hear any feedback ( good or bad ) from them.

Most mappers release 2-3 maps before they get some 'recognision', and you have to come with a pretty impressive piece of work to have people drop their jaws nowadays.
If you enjoy what you are doing, just keep doing it, and dont go into chat offering your map to random(s)/reviewers hoping to get decent feedback. Just hand it out to your friends / people you know and ask them.
If you dont enjoy it at all it might be best to look for another hobby..

Dude why are you complaining about things like this. There is no point making these threads as all they do is make you look like an ass and an attention whore. I understand that reviewers occasionaly give maps amazing ratings when they look like they were made in 3 hours. but taking your annoyance to the forums is not the right way to go about it.(trust me complaining in the forums is stupid) If you want them to make a review of your map make so awesome (or shitty) that it catches their eye. Complaining on an open source forum is like posting that your gay on 4chan, and expecting people too support you. Besides why do you want to be reviewed by a "map reviewer" anyway. Didn't scob post what one review and got the reviewer title. No offense to map reviewers, but i don't really see a difference from your reviews and regular users reviews(excluding humorous reviews). Its cool none the less that a reviewer went out of their way to review your map, but you should hold the reviews that were posted in your release topic by the community higher than a "map reviewer's". Everytime i see you make these threads/comments i lose more and more respect for you. And i feel that other can agree.

I think hes just poorly chosen his words, and feeling a little down on some of the stuff hes trying to do recently.
