What do you mean by nothing happens? Do you mean the map doesn't launch? Game doesn't start?

If I assume what the error is then it's the one literally everyone gets related to broken/missing assets. It should be an assert but that didn't come until t5 so your best bet is to reinstall the tools.

Just to clarify, by "nothing happens" I mean't that the compile stops at that point. I realized there was an error code but couldn't find what it meant anywhere.

I took the advice ended up reinstalling everything and it worked. It just happened again so I hope this isn't a repeating problem that will need me to keep doing a reinstall of the mod tools.

I've had this error before. back up your map images that you've importeted gdt's and models and reinstall the tools. its a pain and i'm not 100% sure what casues the error

I've just reinstalled all the mod tools yet I'm still getting this error when trying to compile no matter what map I use.

Starting to get really confused what causes this and how to fix it at this point.

Hmm. .. .. you may need to check your Activision folder... I mean I had to rename mine to cod5/cod/cod5 like I was missing some assets do to some folder structure/files reading as cod5/cod/cod5 because it would be a pain to rename all of those files. Have you tried that?
C:/program (x86)/Activision/ it's this one. Or just open a file in the original mod tools to see where it reads the program at. and maybe that might help.

Works perfectly now apart from slightly longer compile times for some reason.
