Hey, everyone.

I came across to a wierd problem. After when I have added a few models, and then compile and test, then the map freezes when loading to like 2/10, and then I will have to restar the whole PC. And this always happens after I have placed a couple of xmodels in the map. To fix it, I have to use my backup and then it works again. But why is this happening? I have 3341 misc models in my map so I don't know if it is some limit I have reached.

But I still need to detail the map, but I can't do it because of this wierd thing that is happening, so I am afraid that I will have to release my map with some decent details at some places, and then at some places there is barely non detail, which looks boring.

But I do have lots lots of models and random stuff in the map, so I don't know if it a limit or something. But I really want this fixed.

Hmm, I am under the model limit. But it makes no sense to me why the map freezes when it is loading just because I have added a few more xmodels. Have anybody else been having a similar problem?

If I can't get this fix, I'll have to release this map with some places undetailed.

I don't know, it is original WaW models that I am adding before the map freezes when loading. My map has lots of MB to be a custom map, (349MB) And that is because that I have lots lots of images files, and yes I will remove some of them because there is lots of them that I am not using. Is there a limit of how big size a custom map can be to make WaW able to run a mod? Is it that's why it can't load? I know myself that over 300MB is a little big for a cusotom map but as I said, "unused images".

But how can an xmodel be faulty?

Edit: Alright, this seems to be impossible to fix. So I think that I will decide to release my map with the detailing I have on it.

Some places have good details in my opinion, but some have none, so I hope that all people in this communtiy will enjoy the map anyway if some places have none detailing.

But I still have zones, portalling, clip, scripting part to finish so that will take some time.

And I think I will release my map with UGX mod 1.1 if nothing elses will go wrong with my map.

Okey, I manage to open up the console when it freezes!

And after it have freezed, the console says.

"Exceeded the limit of 2400 'image' assets"

And this happens after I have added some models. And I do have a bunch of bo1/bo2 models were I got from my very good friend.

What should I do? And please can I get a specific answer? I need to know what I should do exactly. Which images do I have to remove from the limit?

According to the error you have too many textures being loaded. Decrease the amount of models included with your map.

Oh, I managed to fix this some weeks ago, it was because I had too many different models, yes I had many models but too many "different models" So I had to remove some, and then it worked and I could continue mapping but try to increase the amount of different models.

I forgot to put best answer here after that, sorry but your answer you said now was the reason why it didn't work so I give you best answer.
