I really dislike SMF would much rather see phpBB or something but myBB is probably the best alternative in terms of efficiency + functionality.

Would switching the forum to it be a good idea?

Also I'm suggesting a switch because of the T7 mod tools that are going to drop next year. The forum could use an upgrade.

Why don't you like SMF if I may ask? Not really a fan of Disqus' design and UI.

Personally i think, IP board is the best, but it isn't free. So in that case i'd probably would go with mybb or just stick SMF.

delta once mentioned he was thinking of moving on to drupal after he's done with the new chat and launcher. so we'll probably stick with smf until then i guess. phpbb became the worst forum software for me after the 3rd version though. so i definitely don't wanna have that if we're gonna move on to another forum software.
