). The issue is that they didn't work on the story for each character past their "sins" so they seemed bland. They gave each one a history, sure, but it all seemed to revolve around their "sins." I don't believe the COTD characters got a resolution either so don't think it hasn't happened before. I mean, I was pumped to shit for SOE and still believe in it, but I can't bring myself to play it alone with all the rituals and what not, especially when Der Eisendrache is right there next to it as an option (I know I panned it for being reused crap and that still slightly bothers me, but they brought in enough original interesting stuff to balance it out). If maybe one of the side bosses were removed, I might be able to handle it but having margwas, bees, and meatballs (Oh my!) makes it little too tough for me when I have to do the rituals and worry about the keepers at the same time. All in all, I think SOE did the same as Der Eisendrache with reusing the stuff we liked, but they didn't do it in a way we liked. SOE is fucking beautiful, though. It's worth some time in theater mode just to look around at that map.![]() | Benevolent Soul who has our eternal gratitude and exclusive access to betas and the donator section of the forum. |
I think they just wanted to start off with a bang and celebrity maps normally are better than the regular zombies maps (Five, COTD, MOTD, Maybe the AW DLCs). I See what you did mean about starting off with a bang, but When I Did the easter egg for the 1st time with my friend Robert, we both thought this would kick start with a new story and have the giant as a side map, but when they showed Richthofen taking the key from the keeper and run off, We were like: "That's IT? That's the big bang?" like seeing the statue of liberty or Washington DC In real life, "That's It?"
I could do without the margwa being in every 3 rounds and stick to the meatballs and they could save the margwa & the buggers for the boss fight.
