Custom guns? (i believe yes)
are you going to change ANYTHING on the gameplay like anti training/camping or non linear levels (more than one door to openin alot of rooms)

By custom guns you mean non-WAW? What do you think? ;D Not thought about EE or anything else at this point, just did a bit of mapping and thought it had potential so made a WIP. And if you think that's an unrealistic place for graffiti you must lead a very sheltered life, that's nothing, (hell even I could make that climb :please:) -

Edit: And there may very well be some doors/debris in this map so you might want to steer clear anyway - I know you only play maps once if they have more than one room/door :P (And no I'm never letting that go ;D)

Little update, been working on lighting and stuff (still trying to figure out how I can get the spotlight to use the shadows of the grate in the ceiling :-\) Never mind the background shit just placeholders for now. :)

Don't know if it'll work but maybe try making a brush on the grate textured with chalk_shadow. It should  work like normal caulk but block light.

I tried that but it didn't come out right, for some reason it was casting vertical shadows instead of horizontal, but I'll keep messing with it.

Maybe try making one side caulk_shadow and the rest normal caulk? just putting it out there.
Or maybe use a different material cause some materials react differently to light.

You thought about, or tried, a terrain patch with a texture of what you want it to look like? Then "looks" like the light is shining through the grates then?  Or maybe putting the caulk grate almost in the floor maybe?
