Well a few reason actually. Personally I hated black ops 2, it just was a horrible game. You do have a point, I did spend a lot of time and I would like to put out more maps with the black ops mod, but that is not the main reason.

We don't don't have a way of properly port any ghost weapons since lemon just doesn't support it (yet?), and as for black ops 2 weapons we do not have access to the weapons files so by using poorly ported weapons like those, we will likely have the community on our asses for having a gun that is 2mm shifted out of place (which happened to me with the black ops mod and is just ridiculous). Finally, it would delay the map much further, this decision was decided when we started making the map.

So for those reasons, we will be sticking with the black ops mod.

The black ops mod is because of BO2 and Ghosts. people dont like how BO2 has cruddy weaponry like the MTAR or the War machine.

Agree with some of what you posted, but this is just stupid. OK the War Machine is definitely crap, but the China Lake was hardly much better was it? And the MTAR is a great gun, way better than say the G11 for example, the SMR woulda been more appropriate, and crappy guns are there for balancing purposes anyway.

I totally think the BO1 mod is a great idea and think it would go perfectly with this map, but to say BO2 was a horrible game is a bit of an exaggeration, MP was IMO much more fun than BO1, and although the 'zombie team' maps were on the whole pretty damn poor, there were some nice features in them, and MOTD and Origins were 2 great maps IMO.

Also not all BO2 ports are shitty, I have access to the weapon files and my guns match the BO2 stats pretty much 100%.

I personally have never been a fan of multiplayer but i adore it in BO1, zombies was disappointing in BO2 and the best thing it gave us IMO is the RGM2 - which is something that'd be good to see in the black ops mod (regardless of whether or not it was in BO) Black Ops is my favourite COD for everything more or less, zombies at its best but there were some flaws and improvements could be made, in this mod is the chance to make those improvements IMO.

No, don't be impatient. Just because I said I haven't added the mod doesn't mean it is the only thing that needs to be done, there are a lot of other things that need to be done as well... such as putting zombies spawns in the map and zoning it to make it actually playable. Hex seems to like getting people hyped for a map that isn't even close to being done lol.

The mapping seems as though it is close to being done, but that does not mean the map itself is close to being done. Personally, I am still working on the Christmas mapping contest, and have Frostbite to release as well, so please be patient and expect the map to come out in the next year.

I don't see how that's irrelevant I was under the idea that you released lockdown first without the bo mod and then planned to add and I was wondering if that was how leviathan was going to be.

Lockdown was made almost a year before I considered doing the black ops mod. The fact that I did want to add it to Overrun and Lockdown was stickily for testing purposes, before I added it to other maps - although Overrun proved that it was playable, I wanted to test it on Lockdown as well, unfortunately I hit engine limits. So instead of wasting my time for months trying to fix an already released map, I began work on newer maps (Leviathan being one of them). I may in the future release lockdown, but it is not a priority I have at moment.
