How would I go about making a gun shoot faster?

What I meaning is when its shooting it starts off slow but needs to speed up after each shot.

An example is that Im adjusting my CEL-3

I don't believe its possible (even with script) to make it speed up.
The only value you can change is the fireTime value in a weapon file, which is a static value and won't change in game.

You can fake it via script. Couple ways. One is by using ForceViewmodelAnimation and another way would be to set a alt weapon for the weapon and make the raise on the alt weapon fire and the drop nothing. Then you could just switch to it but you would have to script the shot. The ForceViewmodelAnimation actually fires.
