Does HidePart() not work in World at War?

I need HidePart() to work for a couple things I am doing but I don't know if it works. I remember my friend trying to use it and it wasn't working so I thought I might ask UGX. I'm not at the point where I have what I need to try it myself yet so that's why I cannot figure this out myself.

im a little confused to what your asking, but this might help:

{
model_you_want_to_hide= getEnt("model_you_want_to_hide", "targetname");
model_you_want_to_hide hide();
}

to unhide you would use:

He means the hidepart() function, it basically hides a tag on a model. Yes it does work on script_models, not on players though.

Yeah so it has been confirmed to work in World at War? Hmmm I wonder why my friend's didn't work when he tried. I'll see if it does when I try it but I didn't expect a "Yes it works" as the answer, I thought it would be a no and we'd have a long conversation about World at War's crap so that's why I made a whole post about it. So should I mark this as best answer?

It looks usable:

As stated only on models but basically anything that's considered an entity which has that specific tag.
