I've been trying to play animations on the 3rd person player-model ( example: like the dive-to-prone anims, but that's not what i'm trying to do.. ), but i cant figure out yet how to do that.. I've tried things like setanim() and animscripted(), and been looking through the _anim.gsc ( but i think that's for AI )..
Anyone who can point me into the right direction how to do this?

as far as i remember, you can't play custom animations on player models. the closest thing you can do is hide the player model, spawn the same model on its origins and angles and play the animation on it.

That can be done in the playeranimtype.script file which controls the animation for each weapon type. You can edit it so it has extra types of player animations for different weapons. You can find the playeranim.script in,
Code Snippet
Plaintext
root\raw\mp\playeranim.script

k, cool. I thought about using the playeranimtype but didn't know yet how that was set up. Also spawning a fake player-model might even be not that bad of a sollution..
I'll go and mess around with this, thanks!
