So I have a massive library of custom models. However, their assets are not separated by model, but rather lumped all together in an image, xmodel, materials, xmodelparts, and xmodelsurfs folders. Is there any easy way to load an xmodel and see which assets its using so I can organize and categorize them?

Or use Makecents We-pack tool, it collects all assets needed for a model. Downside for you could be that it grabs the file's from your raw\ folder, so not sure if that's usefull for you in this case..

True, but you can just put all those folders in another folder named raw, anywhere, and it will work also. My program just makes sure that the current folder name is raw, I'm sure I had a reason, lol.

Yeah I'm actually experiencing issues with xmodelUtils at the moment, wont seem to load the models I'm looking to work with. I'll give this one a try!

Well that prob explains why there was an issue with Toms then.

Open a xmodel with notepad++.
In the first line you should see the surfs and parts name, then a little further right, the mtl names

This is all my program does, so its prob not looking like that...? Are they xmodels? Can I see one?

If it is there, then I don't have a clue, but you can then find the mtls (in the materials folder) and open them with notepad++, and then you will find the images needed there.

Mine are full of <nul> 's and unreadable symbols. The xmodel name is in the first line however.
