OK, that's not a menu overlap - that's just the UGX Mod background image with the regular menu on top of it. Your mod.ff is not compiled correctly - and I would guess the fonts are only working because you already had them installed for something else in your raw folder.

why is the 400fx limit error so sticky?? I removed all my custom fx in the IWD and ff and its still there, I have ran the map before when they werent included.

Do you use the UGX easy fx? to remove fx, if you are using that, you will have to remove or comment the fx's in that script too.

Well, then it means that you have now solved the fx limit problem.

Spawning with no gun can't be caused by removing fx I believe, you maybe have accidently done something while you had the fx limit error going on?
