Color Detail Maps for ported weapons make gun too dark????

So I want my ported guns to look pretty much identical to the black ops ones. Meaning same exact textures. So I use col maps, detail maps, spec maps and cosine power maps. But the big thing is the detail map, in most cases the detail maps for guns is called cammo_gunmetal I believe. But what ends up happening is instead of making the gun looks like in black ops, it makes it MUCH darker. How can I make my gun identicle to black ops. Here I'll show you my galil vs black ops commando, both using ALL the same images.

as you can see with the detail map it's darker and looks better but still not the same as black ops. How can I fix this?

it's partially the cosine maps and partially the colormaps. The second ones are calculated differently on both engines. you'll have to make both brighter/darker until they fit.
