Pathnode Error is breaking my map

Hi, I am a fellow mapper and I am trying to create an awesome map. You might know me from the crazy place... ;D http://ugx-mods.com/forum/index.php?topic=6539.0 But now to the real problem, last week I ran into an error that is stopping all progress to my new map. http://imgur.com/oxCQSPp i have no clue what this means... I have zero pathnode errors in consle. Just a little back story I had pathnodes in walls but those were moved or removed so now i have no errors in consle... I have done one whole week of experimenting with this stuff and I still get the same error.  >:(  If anyone can help it would be awesome but I think the only thing that is going to work, is a spot on answer.... I will give major credit to whoever can help me. Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this and I hope that some one can help... You have too many disconnected paths, try to remove some nodes around the map, which arent needed. You might have some, that are clustered and can be pathed with fewer nodes

You have too many disconnected paths, try to remove some nodes around the map, which arent needed. You might have some, that are clustered and can be pathed with fewer nodes
As an addition, it might also be possible you have pathnodes which are in solid/not active. You could check this by going into devmap, set developer 2 and set ai_shownodes 4. This will show you all your pathnodes, and it will show X's where pathnodes are not working. Try removing/fixing as much X's as you can.

Oh... Seems like my IQ just dropped to 0. Don't mind me, i'm retarted. Of course you can't, your game crashes :facepalm: .
What you could do in radiant is making sure the pathnodes are not in the ground or walls, and what hitman said make sure you don't have too much pathnodes on a specific area.

Is there an excessive amount of doors / windows barriers in the map? I think both of those count as a disconnected path.
Or if you have setup a lot of custom secret doors or whatever that are using disconnectpaths(), that might also have impact on it..

If you do have a lot of doors you could try removing a few for a while and see if that works. You could also create 'routes' around the outside of the map connecting up area's that are sperated by doors to connect them up again and try and work you way around it like that..

Not sure what the exact limit on disconnected paths is though..

what grid are you placing your pathnodes at. you try grid 8 (by pressing the 8 key while in radiant) on the grid tab it should say 256 or something like that and spacing your nodes at that grid. it possible that you have more nodes than you need. I remember a Fellow mapper telling me as well when i had this error that you could get by on grid 8 or the one before cause 7 is 64. your spacing should look something like this.
