The sound of God is the screech of tires, lights and magnets, bolts and wires. Strayed from the road, this very one, still to come. The sound of tires is the sound of God, the electric version.

As you can see, I have bevels on a brick wall where it meets a post.

I do not know if it is possible to line the texture on these up. I have tried Alt + Middle-Click and using the surfaces panel but since patch texturing is different, it won't match up.

It'll be easy to recreate this with other methods (of which there are many) but before I do, is there a way to actually line these up that I'm missing?

keep the bevels under 45 degrees cut and it will technically count as a "flat" surface when dropping it from the top it will all be seamlessly aligned once you go above that tilt it rotates 90 degrees. you can press E to manipulate the edges for a steeper tilt inward to create the flatter plane on top.

or maybe you talked about something completely different but lol this helps some of your aligning atleast lol its faster to build that arch with brushes then sitting 10 minutes trying to align it there is a trick but my time is limited i cannot explain it in full detail now remind me later

Heh, like said i meant the bevels.  :D

Those, probably just going to brush them out then, but if there was a way to do these I would like to know for future reference.

Have you tried the surface inspector  ( select a surface and press 's' ) then try the 'natural' / 'lmap' setting etc

Have you tried just middle clicking the middle mouse button on the textures adjacent to it when you have just one surface at a time selected. I see the one looks okay, have you tried just copying that one and rotating it?

Tried both of your ideas before, no dice. I'm talking about the top mostly, I did use lmap for the sides to get them to match up.
