I had a similar problem with perk machines appearing black. This may not be your problem, but try adjusting your lighting a bit. I put a light a few feet in front of the model and it made all the difference.

I updated the perks and models btw MZ, if you wanted them again, coz your issue was definitely missing textures

I literally redid the entire script and recoded each machines, got a minor bug or two to fix but thats all, its in my dropbox now

Actually, the models you gave me did not appear in assview so I didn't even use them. The screenshot you saw in my tset map was using an old version of bams perks, before the models were removed. And the issue was indeed lighting, because what I described above worked.

I was going to use the new perk system that somebody just released (can't remember his name) but if you redid all the models and scripting,  I would be interested in that. I'll PM you tomorrow rather than going off topic any more on this thread. ;)

well, bams perks lacked the FX, thats why you needed to put a light in?

And they were solid black, when right next to other models (other perks in fact) that were clearly not, so i think your writing that off when you shouldnt be, but meh

Anyway the pack i have uploaded now defo is all set up right coz Ive had someone testing it for me. Includes all BO1 perks, with model_on versions and the buildable pap from tranzit, all rescripted completely from scratch, can handle switching power both on and off, solo quick revive works correctly and the FX are included automatically

If not dont worry, last time i must have just missed a part or something

Can you try by compiling lights on extra?

Are you using self-generated normal maps? If so, how did you create them?
Some poeple just use a converter and bam, use them. But if you just do that it can result in inaccurate displacement (Similar to what your image looks like)

It may not be the normals/how you made them, but that's my initial thoughts

you might have accidentally used grayscale normal maps which will not work on waw. if that's the case, you can learn how to fix them on here.

Perhaps you modified that texture for another model that uses the same one, and therefore messed up the nmls :P Most likely cause anyway.
