This has been driving me nuts recently, some dynamic lights seem to disappear when you get close to them and then reappear as you walk away in certain areas of the map. I was told dynamic lights further than 500 units from 0,0,0 do this (or just over 500 units above or below 0, but I tested this and it doesn't seem to be the case) but that is a ridiculously small area I find this hard to believe, also in some spots dynamic lights work in areas that are further away than that.
Is there any fix for this?
This is no answer, only that I also use them, and in my map, they are thousands of units above and away from 0, and I don't think I have ever experienced that, that I know of. Do you have video?

lol, wow, that seems on purpose almost. That isn't set up on a trigger or anything? And does it do this without using noclip... I assume it does. Are you using blunts tut, I'll check mine again and see if it does this, I may have too much sun to even notice.
There must be some logic to it.

Also, are you using BO1 radiant because, if so, this might be a better question for almighty bae se2.
This is the COD engine we're talking about.
Could it be because the lights are dynamic that they're disappearing? Also, are you using BO1 radiant because, if so, this might be a better question for almighty bae se2.

Yeah, I was confused.
Any chance it's Sun related since moving seems to affect it? You're not using the sky light grid by any chance? I assume it doesn't do this when you don't use the node, but you don't want to use those. Have you considered using an fx instead?
These are just guesses, sorry.
