1. I added few DVARs to enhance how the map looks and this is what happens on one light:



It flickers everywhere and needs to be fixed or removed. I dont want to remove it, so yeah

2. I reconverted model with collisionLOD set high, so it would have bullet impacts and made sure materialtype is metal for material. Impacts come out like this:



3. I set these as spotlights, but when I go near middle one, it doesnt shine on my gun and show specs/cosines. Left and right ones work fine, they shine on the gun. All 3 have same KVPs and doesnt hit sun on the map, except maybe right one:

but maybe I know your 3 problem with the light.


how is your light settings ? from that spot ?

because the guns will shine from the spot when you are in the spotlight and the spotlight most be greater then 1.2 or 1.4 >  and higher to show the light on the weapons when you walk into it.

I got the same problem that the light not working good when I walk into the light.

the "intensity" from the spotlight most around 1.2 or higher.


if that does not work then it is something strange on it  ???

Okay really strange,   but there is no clips or caulks in the lights or under the lights self ?

is it not maybe the:  "info_null" that the green box floating to low and when you walk into the light that then the "info_null" not linked are or something like that ?

I don't know but it is a suggest.


or maybe the "def" type of the light which function it has ?

Yeah, I went around it and just made it broken light. And 1st problem just suddenly vanished, dont know how. Only thing now is the 2nd problem

Try changing the collision LOD to a lower ammount, not to mention high is bad for performance  and are you using custom bullet FX [accidentally?] because they might be reacting weird

On lower amounts, it gives error about Collision LOD not being valid. And no, Im not using custom bullet FXs, pretty sure about that

Are those custom texture's? Do they have an alpha channel? If not maybe that's why the bullet-impacts dont blend in well ( but i'm just guessing here tbh ), try converting them with an alpha chanel maybe?

Model is from Moon, I am using alpha channel and GE128. And I noticed that it happens on certain sides of model. Other side has normal impacts and other side has fucked up impacts. No idea why it does that
