Is my map really shit 

I watched Spider and the guys play this last night in their live stream and then tried it myself earlier today and again just a few minutes ago.

The map itself is perfectly fine. It is not a great map by any means, but it is not a shit map either. You have done a good job for a beginner and the map had no major issues with it. The Jug and Speed perk machines seemed a little dark, and it was strange seeing a car park up in an indoor hallway!? but overall the map has been laid out nicely and the clipping is smooth.

People will not rave about basic maps like this, but as a mapper I can imagine you want to show of your work as you are proud of it. You should be... not many of us can use radiant that well, and I think you have great potential to improve if you continue to master the tools.

This is a great attempt, and you should now try and be more adventurous as you go into your next map.


Edit : Is it just me, or are the pictures not loading up!? No matter... I tried the map anyway, but it may help others if they can see what they are going to be playing. You may want to try and correct that.

The pictures work fine for me, must be a problem on your end.

To the mapper exactly like DBZ said, this is a pretty basic map and good for a beginner, maybe for your next map make it a little bigger, for me personally i like playing huge maps with like 100 doors(exaggeration) but only adding about 3 rooms doesnt really suit me, make it like an adventure for the players to go on to get to the end

looks like your map has a lighting issue... can't remember how to fix it, i think it fixes itself after awhile(or atleast it did for me).

Man... that is seriously weird. I cannot get the pictures to load up on 3 different browsers, nor on my tablet!?! I wonder if the images are hosted on a site that is blocked by my ISP or something?

Yeah, they played it! They got to about round 20 and died. Seemed to enjoy it enough too.

Got a few new maps to play and this is one of them
