Well i need to change my main menu music,i've followed this: http://www.zombiemodding.com/index.php?topic=3171.0
,no sound in game,i also followed this: http://ugx-mods.com/forum/index.php?topic=4777.msg53301#msg53301 ,but when i change that music to my own no sound in game,so obviously i did everything right, except the audio file isn't right.
I exported as uncompressed .wav unsigned 8-bit PCM in Audacity,it also says "no ID3 tags" ,i don't know where that option is
in Audacity or what it means,so,how exactly do i export the audio?
You need to put music sounds through MODSound and then copy the sound from there into your mod.

I already said this
You DO NOT need to copy the sounds to your mod folder...
None of mine are in there and they ALL work correctly
Yes you do need to click "Build sounds", after that you have to recompile the ENTIRE map. If you do this, the sounds do NOT need to be copied into the mod folder

Nope cos works for my buddies to
You have to recompile the map, so im guessing its included at that point, so yeah probably in the ff file
For the longest time sounds wouldnt work for me, turned out i wasnt compiling the map, once i compiled the map first, all sounds work.

This is the process if you need it.
1. Go to root/sound_assets/Raw/sound and make a folder and call it whatever you want.
2. In root/sound_assets/Raw/sound/YOURFOLDER, put .wav your sound.
3. Go to launcher and go to your mod in mod builder.
4. Select Build sounds only. Then Hit Build mod.
5. After its finished, go to root/raw/sound/ and you should now find YOURFOLDER. Check to make sure that you converted sound is in the folder. Copy the whole folder to root/mods/YOURMOD/sound. If you don't have a sound folder, make one.
6. Go back to your mod in Mod Builder and build your mod normally. Make sure your sound is checked.
Should work if your soundaliases are set up correctly. Someone correct me if something is incorrect.
