Require guns to have "smart" triggers. That way the only people who can use the guns are the people who legally own them. Wouldn't do much for existing guns but its something.

currently the argument is always "no guns" or "complete gun freedom that cant be controlled" lol

I just say guns under "supervision", so events can be stopped quickly, not 4 hours later after the killer has shot themselves in the head after a rampage lol
