As a dedicated zombies person, i have been playing zombies alongside multiplayer for about 4-5 years now and i have discovered something: We are losing sight of what the perk a Cola's were originally. I justify this by using the names of the perks from world at War for example: Quick revive Soda: it sounds like a soft drink that you would likely buy from a store/vending machine, and now i compare it to a perk from modern times: PHD Flopper. Sure, it goes with its name, but it doesn't even sound closely related to a soft drink at all unlike the 4 original perks.

Well, i think we found all of them then. I just thought that we were heading away from the original names of the perks, which had made it easier to identify as soft drinks, but now that you have clarified that for me, i guess this topic is kind of pointless now

I totally agree, because why do you need to drink a perk to pick up another gun? it is obviously an unnecessary thing (if anything it should just be you buy a weapon slot, kind of like farcry 3).

Yeh, Mule Kick is really unrealistic..

Becoming a ghost version of yourself, making explosions when you dive, etc. are all perfectly normal side effects of drinking a soft drink...

And I really hate it when people talk about anachronisms with weapons and 'realism' in zombies, we're talking about a gamemode where you buy guns from chalk drawings on a wall, and a floating teddy bear comes out of 'mystery box' which magically gives you guns, and 'space monkeys' fly down from the sky and attack perks...and wasn't the whole thing supposed to be a little girl playing a game with dolls anyway?? Rant over.

A lot of the stuff in this post actually just blew my mind because I didn't realize what the things were based off of. Also, Speed Cola is DEFINITELY based off Coca-Cola because "Coca" comes from cocaine which used to be in Coca-Cola and Speed is a form of meth. Although it could be Pepsi-Cola too but that's a bit of a throwback. Pepsin is an enzyme in your body that digests food so I guess it could be either or.
