its alright what are you mainly going to be using it for just games and modding? and also if your going to be doing both of those ^ in my opinion a desktop will be better because you can always upgrade it to a wider range than you can a laptop and a laptop is to small and confined for modding and games but thats my opinion so if i were you i would choose a desktop

The CPU he put in is not great, and the GFX card could be better - he didn't mention what motherboard he put in the LAN box - that would be my first question. If the motherboard supports the latest version of LGA slots and CPUs, then $400 is reasonable - otherwise I would cut the price in half. Also ask what PSU he put in it. Hell, ask for the whole spec sheet, theres no reason for him to have not posted that already in the ad.
It's also pretty laughable that he thinks the CPU is "fast enough, especially in this small of a package" -
First sentence in the ad states that he made this computer 11 months ago for a customer who never showed up - that's a good indication right there that the hardware is out of date - 11 months is a very large part of the lifespan of a cutting edge computer - most of the hardware is out of date at this point. $400 is too high for 11 month old equipment.
And once you buy it you will probably need to spend $350 on a new CPU and $300 on a new GFX card if you want something that will max out 2013 games.

You sure about that... and if so then I guess this PC will fit your needs - I would still try to get him down to $300 since the parts are a year old and outdated.

If he won't come down on price, ask for a complete spec sheet that has all the component model numbers so that we can make a guess as to how much the parts are currently worth.
