I'm not entirely sure where to post this but here's a thought. Recently I've rigged the main characters from the map Five Call of the Dead and the space suit from moon. I've also ported a few weapons across such as the rpk famas m16 m14 spas12 and so on. I've also created pack a punch versions for these guns as well.

Would the ugx community like me to release them as a .ff that your could install like Harrybo2's perks.

What I have so far:
All Five characters fully rigged
All call of the dead characters fully rigged
Moon Characters rigged with moon helmet and without
Most of the main zombie weapons such as Rpk hk21 galil etc
Moon Call of the dead and five zombies all working correctly

Wonder weapons so far. Only models not scripts for them to work.
Scavenger and pack a punch version
Thunder Gun and pack a punch version
Gersh Device
Q.E.D
Russian Nesting Dolls
VR-11

Work in progress weapons.
Baby Gun "shrink ray"
commando
Noon tube attachement for m16 pack a punched
Olympia pack a punched with fire bullets
Dual wield Cz75's M1911 and some SMG's

Side  notes:

Might include the ray gun from origins as I feel it looks better.
Might make a black ops 3 version as I have managed to rip the 4 main characters on shadowsof evil and the giant
Also got a couple of black ops 3 weapons but no ainims for the weapons

Any feed back or ideas would be excellent. If yout would like this then vote on the poll :)

I voted No! Sorry but that's my opinion. People nowdays are getting more and more into porting. As it is very easy. I have to state that people need to learn to make their own stuff instead of waiting for someone to make it.

Sorry but this is one reason i quit mapping but came back thanks to Nate and his weapons.. its not because im too lazy to port a weapon... its because i really dont have the time to sit down for 5 hours porting nearly 1 - 2 weapons.. what a waste of a life! Thats one reason why this community would die if it wasnt for bo1/bo3 mod tools because most people cant be bothered like myself to spend millions of years porting weapons.. I just enjoy making maps for people not spending my whole life sitting at my computer making a map... I also see it as a helping and starting point for new mappers..

I mean most people bash some new mapper when he uploads a map with WaW weapons... yet yous don't want to even give them a hand? bruh

Not having a go just how i feel about the people who say no..

I can understand people have a life outside ugx, i also do. But that doesn't prevent you from making your stuff extra crisp. I mean lately i've been talking to my gf/family on skype while modding. Don't get me wrong. But i just like to do more stuff at one time.
Porting guns don't take that much. Did the cbj, ameli, bren, fad. In two days only...

To be fair Tim i agree its cool when mappers come up with amazing idea's themselves but personally i'd rather just come home after work and any extra time i have left just do some work on a map im working on.. with the + of some awesome weapons.. if it wasn't for nates weapons i wouldn't of bothered at all! so packs like this helps a lot and i know for a fact they help a lot of the newer mappers to create awesome maps too

That is true hitman. All I've seen is rorkes BO1 guns and tbh not many bother making a decent pack a punch version of his guns. Maybe I'll relate pap versions of BO1 guns and see how that goes. Will probably start fixing some of the back ops 3 textures that I have and try to get some of those guns in world at war. Will probably start with the boot legged as I can probably get away with using the type 100 anims just to see how the gun looks in game

Bootlegger don't use type100 anims. It uses the sten. They fit more. As i already did it lol.

Use Sten anims, that way you will have sprint anims with the gun. I used those anims and it came out pretty good:


Remember to modify specmap to fit as colmap, dont just use specmap as colmap as it is, looks ugly and too bright ;)

you say that - yet are also the same person who advises people not to bother with specs, nmls and cosines so...

Guns take very little time to port "now" - back in the day they took a while but now for most games toms lemon ports direct to xanim all you really need to do is the model and textures - even that's half done. And most weapon files can be obtained online so you don't even need to work out stats

I did every gun in origins in two days
