A haunted House.

Is it possible to make something like a haunted house in amusement parks in waw? Or something like P.T.

a concept were a map isn't a zombies map or a mp map.

like p.t. players can try opening doors and stuff.

example of a map (note; can only be playable in solo):

Player wakes up, looks around, see a door, opens it, creepy music plays, door behind player shuts with a loud BANG, player walks forward into a room with 3 doors, 2 doors require key, 1 open, player walks into a open room, creepy music plays, it is dark in that room, player sees 2 more doors, both open, player goes into one, sees a figure at the end of the dark hallway,......... u get the point?


anyways, i though i'd share my idea.

This may be the stupidest idea EVER, or a decent idea.

let me know what you think.

It's a very good idea and is possible to an extent. The ghost probably wouldn't be able to move around and twitch, but it can certainly go through you. I believe there's a setting to change light intensity and make rooms more gloomy. The getting out of bed part I doubt because that's an useless custom anim. The flashlight could be done if Chromastone I believe shared his flashlighting trick with us. The main issue is there would be no weapons most likely because how do you fight ghosts? I DO see the possibility of someone modeling the plasma guns from Ghostbusters :troll: It's an interesting idea, but not what this site and its members are usually interested in. You could make it with your skills you must have acquired based on your 7 map releases on GCZ.

On GCZ, (I REALLY shouldn't be saying this) ZK has a jumpscare tutorial I think works. To make a ghost, just make a model and make it move when triggered. It will naturally go through the player without moving them because it isn't clipped. Sounds could be triggered based on radius and you'd be able to have A TON of sounds since there would be no zombie sounds, few player sounds, and few actual map sounds required. FX would also be pretty free. The only limit is your imagination.

If you plan on putting background music in the map, you'll also need to look for music that's...you know, actually creepy and music that fits the map as well

I haven't played Silent Hill 2 yet (I just started playing the first one), could you show me some music from the second game?
I recommend playing the first 3 as they are the best in the series. At first you might be confused with the story but as you learn more about the story it comes together like a puzzle. Silent Hill 2 had the saddest story hope you enjoy the game.
