So, I've recently started developing for the Playstation Portable (fuck knows why). Because of it's quite weak technical capabilities, I can't make a super advanced FPS and I can't come up with any ideas since my mind is so infected with FPS ideas. Which is why I'm asking you guys for ideas.

That my friend is from the past, so you have to look there. But I must ask, what type of 2D-games would you like to make?
I mean it could be helpful if you elaborate more about the theme you wish to use.

Would certainly be able to make an RPG or a Telltale style game with 2D cinematics.

What about something along the lines of Hotline Miami? Various levels of clearing buildings, increasing in difficulty. Could add an RPG element of some sort into that.

Maybe some sort of pac-man style game? I should really get back into homebrew development tbh.
