I'm having a hard time trying to look for a gaming laptop to buy when I have the money for it.

I can't get a desktop PC because I don't have any room in my house for it, so I thought I would get a gaming laptop anyway.

(That, and so I can bring it wherever I want for my own uses :troll:)

I'm looking for a laptop that runs on a Windows 7, runs any modern game at High-ish settings at a solid 60fps (I usually play on a 1280x720 resolution, but I don't mind if somebody recommends a laptop that can also handle modern games at 1920x1080 60fps with High settings), and that costs below $1000.

Any suggestions?

Hey man I recently bought an Acer with a dedicated amd graphics card 2GB, 1Tb hard drive, 8Gb Ram, usb 3.0, and a amd quad core CPU for around 500$. I use it for work and college mostly but I've played a few games of zombies on it and installed the mod tools. It works flawlessly on the highest settings. I was on a tight budget when I ran across it on Newegg. Check em out, Acer makes a few different types with specs like above.  8)

Did you choose the specs yourself? Or did you buy a laptop that was already built like this?

If it was already built, could you give me a link to it? C:

I can't find a place in my home to place a gaming desktop at (or a new desktop PC, in general), so I thought getting a gaming laptop would be a lot easier.

I didn't build it I just bought it. I mostly use it for college but I do occasionally play a few games of zombies and just the other day I bought dead rising 3 and have been playing it on low settings, seems to be working great. It may not be the best laptop for the newest higher demanding games but I mean if it can handle Dead Rising 3 then it should be fine. I personally love it. It's light as a feather and really slim. Its metal and not plastic and just feels great. If your trying to go cheap this is a good laptop. Here is a link to the pc and specs: http://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-V5-552G-X852-15-6-Inch-Laptop/dp/B00FNPD1WG#productDetails

Yeah i have a laptop and it extremely lags on cod waw, why don't you buy this pc which is only made up of a screen, mouse, and keyboard. that reduces the space needed for a pc by 50%, as there are no cables making a mess here and there, it's only 1 or 2 cable all in all I think.
