This map has now been released and can be downloaded from the Community Maps section!
Research of the Damned
Release date: In 1-2 weeks
Research of the Damned is a combination of Verruckt and Mob of the Dead. The map has verruckt styled tight areas and the atmosphere of Mob of The Dead.

Features:
-Black Ops weapons
-Main easter egg/objective with a winnable ending. Map also has small easter eggs for you to find
-Mob of the Dead Wolves and Hell's Retriever/Redeemer
-Black ops 1 and 2 perks
-Ambient sounds and music
-And more
To do list:
-Fix some script related issues (Some unfortunately go above my knowledge so might not be able to fix them)
-Add some sound effects
-Fix some textures
-Add detail and fix some lighting issues

Welcome to my last World at War map! I started working on it around the time Black Ops 3 mod tools came. After that I stopped working on this project. I revived this project when remaking "Five" in BO3 started to be frustrating and here we are. Due to getting a new PC I'm trying to get this map done ASAP.

With your Black Ops weapons, would you be able to fix them up so they both look and feel like the originals?
the weapons from hanoi felt very dodgy in all honesty.
aside from that, glad to see someone else still making maps in W@W.

Textures fixed and weapons now have correct Black Ops stats.

I love the full-auto Crossbow and Thundergun/Winter's Howl hybrid (Winter's Thunder? Thunder's Howl? I got nothing). Maps like these prove that nothing will ever beat WaW custom zombies!

Update
Just did some testing both solo and coop and it seems that the scripting related issues are now fixed. Expect a release soon!
The final release will most likely have some (small) issues due to time I have to work on this project. However these issues are pretty minor and won't affect the gameplay that much.
In the mean time, here is one of the new weapons added:
