Halloween Town








So as the title suggests this map will be themed around Halloween, A small secluded town and Trick 'r Treating.

I have noticed many people working on recreating Nuketown from both bo1 and bo2 and I have always wondered why the hell would you do that? Just buy the damn games and play it on there! So to show people originality I decided to put a spin on the Nuketown idea and turn it into Halloween Town.

The picture shown is about a days worth of work on and off. allot more still needs to be done obviously - but the idea I had for this map was to axe all perk machines and the mystery box and add in a Trick 'r Treat features instead to better suit the map. This means that each individual house you go up to will have the Trick 'r Treat feature.

Trick 'r Treating: Players can go up to the doors, ring the bell (audio sound of children saying trick r treat plays) and the door will creak open and play a random selection of perks, guns, power ups and tricks. Hope you guys like the idea.

Thanks, and i like the idea of keeping the houses the same look, makes it creepier in my opinion - but the houses will have different Halloween decorations and different outdoor models to tell them apart. If you ever get a chance, read the stepford wives - it shows that the more things are similar the stranger and creepier things become.

yeah a changed feel to he map would be great... WAW is ugly. The map doesn't really have a trick-or-treat, bright but spooky vibe to it yet

not sure yet, I pictured it as a Cul-de-sac with no exit or entry points but with cars on the side to give it a weird creepy vibe.

But how did the cars get there??? Haha its a circle with no road exiting the street...

The thing about cul-de-sac is, that its road all the way, I see grass patches in there, so thats why I was little suspicious. Nice looking, even if theres almost nothing to show

I think he means i.e perks & weapons, but the fun think about trick 'r treating is you never know what your gonna get! Waiting for it to be a surprise is much more interesting! Nice work Hex!

the trick-r-treating idea is cool but maybe add a bit more to the actual map.
