Would have been funnier with just an empty Radiant screenshot, seeing as you said it was your current Radiant progress, a black image is a bit stupid.

It actually is a radiant screenshot from the empty 3d view. Don't know why it turned out so dark.

Any progress to post? Once you begin mapping you need to update your topic. If we see a completed map posted as the first progress update we cannot verify it was made for the contest.

I have not begun mapping yet as I am trying to finish town first. Is there a deadline for maps to be "started"?

No, just ensure that once you start you give regular updates. You just can't post pictures halfway through the contest of a halfdone map and say you were working on it the whole time(hypothetically). We need updates to track progress.

And it have not to be one room pictures like if i had a map already finished ,i will take a picture of the first room and tell you that it's my current progress .It have to be a picture that shows the whole current progress.Or putting the room pic and the whole progress to show that it's all what it have been done.
