Hello everyone!

I am using UGX mod and when you start the game it says "Powered by UGX mod 1.0" when you start the map. Yes I know it says that in every UGX mod map. And I am NOT asking to remove it, just so you know.

I have used YaPhil's awesome typewriter intro text script, and the text that I have added is overlapping to eachother, with the powered by UGX mod text and the text for YaPhil's typewriter intro text.

So my question today is, can I/am I allowed to either move the powered by UGX mod text up a little, or move the text from YaPhil's intro text down a little so they are not overlapping. If I am allowed, how do I do that?

Here is YaPhil's tutorial for it if you want to see that. (Credits to YaPhil because I use that)

Thanks in advance :)

You could put a wait(seconds); before the text, which will delay the message before showing.

example:

Code Snippet
Plaintext
wait(1) // amount of time, in seconds, before the next line of code is executed.
iprintln("message here");

Of course the wait line, why didn't I think of that. I use those lines very often. But right now I have an error when I compile, so I will try to fix that first. After that I will reply here and tell if it worked with the wait line.  ;)

Hey Ege,

Just posting an alternative for you.

If you want the `Powered by UGX Mod 1.0` to be moved up instead of using wait;

Go to your \raw\maps directory and find a script file named `dlc3_code` / `dlc3_code.gsc`

Do a search for - level.intro_hud[0].y (If your using Notepad++ then line 219)

Change the value from -110 to -140

Code Snippet
Plaintext
	level.intro_hud[0].y = -140;

Save and compile the mod.

(Note; I haven't tried this, but `ugxm_user_settings` sends the string to the dlc3_code so it should work
Also you may need to recompile the `ugx_mod` mod before using project mover, but that's only a maybe if the compile of your own mod doesn't move the text up)

Thanks,
DuaLVII

Nah, I kinda liked when the text came later. It made my map you know more dramatic, lol but thanks anyways, this may be very good in later use. But thanks anyways.  :)
