I'm working on a custom model of Amm-O-Matic, and after I convert it in Asset Manager, it's simply invisible, no texture, no nothing. This isn't the only model I've had issues with, so I really don't know what to do. I've tried and retried converting, but nothing ever works. Anybody out there know how to fix this? Even though the board has been kind of quiet the past few days,  I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me with this, as I'm unable to port several important models into my mod because of this. Thank you!

I'm still new to Maya, so I'm not familiar with the process of removing transparency. it all has to do with the model's alpha layer, right? Because sometimes the models that I port do work, but most of the time they're just invisible.

Still no luck with this, no matter what I do. Sometimes, it works just fine and my model is visible, but other times, I do the exact same thing and it's still invisible.

And show us the cmd window that pops up when you convert a material

And after that, go to root/raw/images - tick to arrange by "date order" and take a picture of the top for us

Oh yeah, I fixed that one awhile ago, the error messages keep showing up for some reason though. The one that I'm focusing on is the ammomatic material. Or is what you're saying is that the error messages for the viewhands are affecting the ammomatic material?

So what i would do is go to your model_export folder and find your ammomatic.xmodel_export. (note yours will not be called that probably lol) But find that .xmodel_export and right click it and open it in Notepad++. Then scroll all the way to the very bottom. There you will find the materials that the model uses. Now make sure the materials are named the same as the materials in Asset Manager.

Now if they are then you can test to see if its the model by replacing the material names in Notepad++ with a material you know works. For example I have a material i made called "red" that I use to test if a model works. I simply replace the material names in Notepad++ then convert it in Asset Manager and see if it appears in-game or in the model viewer. Of course its all red but at least I know then its my materials that are not setup right.
