I was wondering how I can fix the glitch exploit where if a player hits the box then buys a perk, they can trade the perk bottle for the weapon, which gives them a third gun (which can be done over and over until the player has obtained all guns from the box at once). I would move my perks, but that would be a bit excessive (although easy) and I'd much rather just fix it in script. I tried going into the thread that gives a player the perk bottle and disabling the use button until they no longer have the perk bottle, but I can't figure out what function i'd use to do it. I already tried "self AllowUse( false );" and also "self DisableuseButton();", but neither work. Anyone wanna help me out here? This is the only thing keeping my map from being released :\

Just add the perk bottle weapons to the box trigger so that if they have a perk weapon they can't trade for the gun.

if true, prevent swapping weapon, if false, allow swap weapon

player.is_drinking is set while your using perks or pap


isnt this fixed in Der Reise anyway? This bug only worked on Verruct

I thought this was fixed as well (it also worked on shi no numa btw). But anyway I tried adding that function and if it was true, to just continue and added !player.is_drinking in the if() check to enable to player to take the weapon but nothing will work :\  Do you know of a specific line or function it must be in?

i think "vending_trigger_watcher", "vending_trigger_upgrade_watcher" and whatever function is for taking the gun pap spits out

Yea i forgot it worked in shi no, i had it backwards

Verruct was the betty trick, Shi no was the run to the machine while drinking the perks, and then the old downed by the box glitch that worked on all 4, and on Kino on release, but was patched on day one (I was annoyed, why not patch it - before - releasing the next entire game eh... )
